Migration Certificate From Madras University.?

I had taken admission to First Year B.sc In a City college in Chennai.Due to Transfer, will be shifting to Mumbai.My query is ,Transfer Certificate ORIGINAL will be Submitted in Madras University for issuing MIGRATION certificate.Will Xerox Attested copies of TC be accepted in Mumbai College and what is the time taken to issue the MIGRATION CERTIFICATE by Madras University.
